Shipping Policies/Live Guarantee

SHIPPING TIMEFRAME AND ORDER CONFIRMATION:

Orders generally ship on Mondays only in the summertime (to avoid ice packs melting and worms dying while held up at postal depots over the weekend). During cooler parts of the year, worms will generally ship 5 days a week to ensure some of the fastest delivery times in the worm business. Although orders are shipped extremely fast for most of the year, we do reserve the right to delay the shipping of your order if temperatures are extremely high on the receiving end of your delivery. Since we are in the care and custody of live animals, we need to make sure that your worms have the best odds to make it alive to your address. The cutoff for shipping on any particular day is 9AM. Orders that are placed after this time will go out in the next batch of shipments. Please note that orders are limited to no more than 2 pounds of worms per individual customer, per order. We are not a large bulk supplier and orders placed over the two-pound threshold will be refunded, and the customer will be notified.

SHIPPING AND LIVE ARRIVAL GUARANTEE:

We are proud to offer a live arrival guarantee, but with terms that must be followed. If your worms have perished during shipment, you must email us within 10 hours of receiving a dead shipment. You will need to submit a photo or video of the deceased worms next to the cloth bag and shipping box that they were delivered in. Once we have reviewed this evidence and verified that the worms are deceased, we will send another box of worms at no extra charge. Please note that worms can only be replaced once, and we will not be able to ship another box until we have photo or video evidence that the worms are actually dead. Please be aware that we have shipped thousands of boxes of worms over the years, and lots of insulation and loose compost is used to ensure live arrival of your order.
